The Calgary Zoo will be glowing when Zoolights returns for the 2018 holiday season.
Marking 21 years as Calgary’s brightest light display, the Calgary Zoo’s annual family winter event combines holiday favourites with the message of animal conservation.

This year’s event will feature a Snow White and the Seven Stewards of the Forest display, which will include a giant gingerbread house, an enchanted forest, an apple wishing tree, and a sustainability factory.
The jolly man himself will even be on the scene, along with a new (and incredibly Instagrammable) mistletoe setup.
The entire display boasts over two million lights, and it takes roughly 90 minutes to enjoy the full experience.
With a skating rink, a 16-foot Christmas tree, and a toasty fire pit, The Calgary Zoo is a solid spot to kick off the holiday season.
