“ZOOLIGHTS is one of the city’s favourite holiday traditions and a time when Calgarians come out to celebrate,” says Roz Freeman of the Calgary Zoo, in a release. “We wanted to take the opportunity to shine the spotlight on conservation and sustainability through inspiring action.”
This year’s event will feature several displays and interactive activities to inspire Calgarians to take alternative modes of transport and highlights conservation efforts at the Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary in West Africa.
With a skating rink, a 16-foot Christmas tree, and a visit from Santa, ZOOLIGHTS is the perfect place to get the whole family in the holiday.
