Calgary's Spring Food Truck Frenzy is here
We all know the weather in Calgary can be quite, um… unpredictable. But that doesn’t stop the return of your favourite things: Food trucks.
Celebrate the city’s best eats on May 11 at the YYCFoodTrucks Spring Frenzy. The highly-anticipated foodie event is set to take over Celebration Square, East Village at 7 Avenue and 4 Street.

While you’re there, you can also take part in games, see (and participate in) interactive art, and enter draws to win YYCFoodTrucks bucks!
The YYCFoodTrucks Spring Frenzy will be taking place rain or shine so you don’t have to worry about changing your plans if (worst case scenario) a little rain or snow starts to fall.
It costs just $5 for entry, with entry free for kids under 12 and seniors. Plus, you can even bring your four-legged friends along!

Basically, there couldn’t be a better way to kick off food truck season than with YYC’s best street fare all in one place.
The next Frenzy is going to be held at ContainR in Sunnyside, for the YYCFoodTruck Taco Take Over. Here, your top food trucks will be coming together once again with traditional menus, as well as showcasing their prized taco.
