Calgary Wing Fest 2016: Try over 30 kinds of chicken wings [UPDATED]

UPDATE 9/7/16: Calgary Wingfest organizers have announced the event has been canceled, citing low ticket sales and unforeseen costs. They will be giving full refunds to ticketholders.

Chicken wing lovers unite! The Calgary Wing Festival is back in town for its second year and will take place on Saturday, September 10, at Tool Shed Brewing Company.

Of course, the highlight of the festival will be the WingsnBeer Classic– the ultimate wing eating competition. Now is probably a good time to your teams organized and don’t forget to register for the competition.

This year, Calgary WingFest will help support Youth Central– a charity that supports youth by encouraging community participation, so you’ll be eating wings for a good cause.

With over 30 different chicken wings to sample, a variety of craft  beer to sip on, and local musicians and comedians for entertainment, the Calgary Wing Festival is guaranteed to be a finger lickin’ good time.
