Calgary Whisky Festival returns for its 5th year

Dec 19 2017, 10:55 am

Now in its 5th year, the Calgary Whisky Festival returns to the city bigger and better than ever before. Presented by the MS Society of Canada, in association with Kensington Wine Market, the event, which boasts Brand Ambassadors and whisky sampling stations, benefits the MS Society of Canada – Calgary & Area Chapter.

Last year, the festival drew an impressive 500 attendees and featured over 100 whiskies from distilleries in Scotland, Ireland, Canada, the U.S., Japan, and India.

The one-day event, which takes place on January 14 this year, provides a unique chance for whisky enthusiasts to sample whiskies from around the world, while mingling directly with distillery representatives and fellow connoisseurs, all while supporting a worthy cause.

Funds raised at the annual event will help provide much-needed services in the community for those affected by MS, as well as help fund ground-breaking research dedicated to finding a cure.
