Calgary will see a 28°C swing in temperature this week

If you thought winter’s cold weather was gone for good, you obviously haven’t been in Calgary for long.

The -20°Cs will return starting on Tuesday night, along with a 40% chance of snow, according to Environment Canada.

Those chances only increase to 60% on Wednesday with a low of -23°C, and a near certainty (as far as weather predictions go) for periods of snow on Thursday.

Once we’re past all that, however, we’ll be looking at clear, sunny skies for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Temperatures as high as 6°C are also in the forecast for the weekend, so you’ll finally get a chance to wear something other than your thickest coat.
