The customary cold has finally returned to Calgary.
After an unseasonably warm few weeks this December, the City of Calgary finally has a forecast with nothing but below freezing temperatures and a bit more than a sprinkling of snow.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and even Thursday are all expecting at least a chance of snow, with Tuesday and Wednesday falling under a snowfall warning from Environment Canada.
Up to 20 cm is expected to fall by Wednesday evening, ensuring a solid covering by the time Christmas rolls around.
The following weekend will be clear skies and sunshine, but at a high of only -5°C, we doubt that the snows will be melting before Monday.
The low of the week will be a chilly -13°C on Wednesday and Friday nights, so we definitely reccomend bundling up out there, Calgary!
