Calgary to see temperatures in the double digits for first week of December

Grab those shades and slap on some sunscreen because it’s going to be a warm one in Calgary this week!

The weather over the next few days is expected to sit well above freezing, with temperatures even reaching into the double digits.

This Tuesday is expected to see a high of just 1°C, bringing with it some sunny skies, according to The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast.

Wednesday is when the real fun begins, with temperatures reaching highs of 9°C and clear skies all the way through.

That warmth is only amplified come Thursday, which will see a high of 11°C that feels like 9°C — so if you’re planning on taking a trip outside, that would be the day to do it.

The weekend arrives looking just as sunny if a little cooler, though compared to the temperatures we’d usually be seeing in Calgary around this time of year, the rest of the week is looking like a scorcher.

Both Friday and Saturday will see mostly clear skies and highs of 8°C, while Sunday will warm right up to upwards of 9°C with completely clear skies.

Not such a bad way to start the darkest month of the year!
