6 day cold snap takes over Calgary this week with snow and chilly wind

Mar 7 2017, 1:40 am

The weekend wasn’t enough for Mother Nature, her wrath will be felt all week to start off March with a chill.

Moisture from the west coast is causing the precipitation while cold arctic air is forcing the temperatures down.

The temperature in Calgary will vary during the day from -9°C to -18°C dipping down to lows of -23°C overnight with wind chill making it feel like -25°C.

We’ll most likely see snow all week but not enough to give us flash backs to the beginning of this year.

The sun will peak out on Thursday morning but will be gone again for the weekend.

Give yourselves extra time in the morning to brush off your cars and give it a quick start before heading off to work.
