Winter is coming, Calgary.
Despite milder temperatures starting off 2021, snow and subzero temperatures are expected to take over in the next few days.
The Weather Network is forecasting that sun and warmer weather will stick around until Thursday.

Scattered flurries are expected for Friday, and the temperature will fall to -5°C. Really, though, it will feel like -9°C.
The sunshine returns on Sunday, but it will still be well below freezing.
Looking ahead, the last week of January begins with a few flurries and equally frigid temperatures.
By Friday, sunny weather is expected to warm the city up to about -2°C.
