The afternoon high is expected to reach 27°C, which Calgarians will want to soak up as much as possible, because this upcoming weekend doesn’t exactly echo that same beach weather.
Tonight kicks off the stormy skies with a risk of strong thunderstorms, according to a seven-day weather forecast from The Weather Network.
Saturday will likely follow suit, bringing with it around 5 mm of rainfall and just four hours of sunshine.
Sunday is looking a little nicer than its predecessor, but just barely. With a measly high of 18°C and a 40% chance of 1 to 3 mm of rainfall, we’d start the celebrations this Friday afternoon before the weekend hits.
