Calgary expected to be hit with 15 cm of snow this weekend

Well, the clear roads and side walks were nice while they lasted, but alas it’s back to snow for us this weekend.
Super bowl weekend will be a white one here in town, with around 5 to 10 centimetres expected to fall on Sunday alone.
Friday and Saturday we’ll see flurries as well with 1 centimetre lightly falling on Friday and 5 on Saturday.
Friday will feel quite cold in town with windchill making it feel like -26°C at night.
If you’re going to be in the mountains – bundle up, make sure you have your winter tires on and grab a hot beverage.
