Here's what the weather will look like in Calgary this Easter weekend

Apr 1 2021, 4:52 pm

With Easter arriving a little earlier than usual this year (the holiday falls on April 4), the long weekend weather is set to be more inconsistent than ever.

It’s 7ÂșC and partly cloudy in the city right now, and things are expected to warm up to 15ÂșC this afternoon to usher in the weekend.

According to The Weather Network, Friday will see a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 11ÂșC.

Saturday is predicted to bring the warmest temperatures of the long weekend, and a high of 12ÂșC is in the forecast.

Sunday doesn’t get too cold, seeing a high of 8ÂșC that drops down to -2ÂșC overnight; however, there’s a chance of showers throughout the day and into the evening.

Let’s hope the rain brightens up the city and brings some green grass and flowers our way.

Moving into next week, the weather holds steady with more double-digit highs and mainly sunny skies.

Monday is expected to experience a high of 11ÂșC that holds steady through Tuesday, and 13ÂșC is in the forecast for Wednesday. Fingers crossed these double digit temperatures stick around.

Enjoy the warm weather and spring showers this Easter weekend, Calgary.
