Calgary T&T Supermarket closes after employee tests positive for coronavirus

T&T Supermarket at Pacific Place Mall in Calgary has closed after an employee has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 999 36 Street NE Calgary grocery store shuttered yesterday after learning this information.

The staff member last worked at the store on March 21, they tested positive for the virus on March 25.

CEO of the Asian grocery chain, Tina Lee, released a statement outlining the details.

Lee said all staff from this location has been asked to stay home for 14 days to monitor their health, and that the store has closed for deep cleaning.

The Pacific Place Mall T&T Supermarket is slated to reopen on April 8, 2020.
