Canadian Pacific has confirmed that a train derailment occurred at 15 Street SE in Calgary. According to CBC news, as many as 15 cars are off the tracks.

Calgary Fire Department spokeswoman Carol Denke told CBC that three of the cars were lying on their sides, but they were empty. There were no reports of injuries or hazardous materials.
