19 photos of the supermoon lunar eclipse

An exceptionally rare celestial phenomenon took place on Sunday and provided sky-gazers in Calgary with a double lunar treat.

The supermoon lunar eclipse last happened in 1982 and it is not expected to return for another 18 years.
