Grab some sunscreen and throw on those shades, because Calgary is going to be seeing some sunshine this weekend.
After what has been a relatively mild week, we’re happy to report that The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast is calling for a return to summery form over the next few days.

We’ll start off with mainly sunny skies this Friday and Saturday, both bringing highs of 22°C.
Sunday is when the real fun begins, with 12 hours of unimpeded sunshine, a high of 26°C that feels closer to 28°C, and winds of just 10 km/hour.
Monday will truly bring the head, however, with a high of 30°C that feels like 32°C, which will likely prompt an Environment Canada heat warning. Tuesday follows up nearly as hot with a high of 29°C feeling like 31°C.
The rest of next week cools off a bit, while Thursday returns to the risk of thunderstorms that we’ve been seeing throughout the entirety of this summer.
So just make sure to enjoy that sunshine while you can, Calgary!
