Calgary just saw an absolutely gorgeous sunrise (PHOTOS)

Good morning to you too, Calgary.

YYC just woke up to a marvellous sunrise this morning, and what may well have been the last colourful wake up call in all of 2019.

Calgarians didn’t have to set their alarms too early to catch the natural phenomenon, either, as the sun took it’s time to rise at 8:39 am — the latest time in the entire year that it will take to peek over the horizon and appear in the morning sky.

Still, some people are still running on holiday time, and we don’t blame them! Luckily enough for those of you who are still in bed, a few of your fellow Calgarians took the time to snap a pic of the stunning sight as the sky lit up this morning.
