Clear sunny skies forecast for Calgary all weekend long

First month of winter who?

While the weather has always been a fickle beast out here in Calgary, that usually means seeing snowfall in what should be the warmer months of the year…

So when the luck falls in our favour with some beautiful December days, you’d better believe we’ll be making the most of them.

The next three days are looking like nothing but clear skies and warm (er than usual) temperatures, according to The Weather Network’s weekend forecast.

The end of the week kicks off with a sunny Friday seeing highs of 7°C that feels a little more like 5°C.

Saturday follows up with a forecast of 8°C with a nighttime low of just 0°C, while Sunday will be looking much the same with another high of 8°C. 

It’s not necessarily t-shirt and shorts kind of weather, but you’ll be able to get away with keeping that parka in the closet (for now).

All three days are expected to be cloudless, and while indoor social gatherings are outlawed and outdoor gatherings must be kept to a maximum of 10 people (while physical distancing, of course), this weekend is showing the perfect weather to stretch those legs and get outdoors.

Because we all know that a deep freeze can be right around the corner at any time here in Calgary!
