One of Canada’s sunniest cities is expected to see a rather wet start to the summer.
Calgary will be feeling a little bit more like Raincouver throughout the next few days, as the first official week of the new season starts us off with thunderstorms and seemingly constant rainfall.

The Weather Network is reporting a rather bleak forecast that will see a gorgeous Monday filled with sunshine… before taking a complete 180Ā° and hitting the city with risks of strong thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The oh-so frightening thunder and lightning will be accompanied by a 40% chance of precipitation on Tuesday and a 70% chance on Wednesday, with a total of around 15 mm of rain expected to fall before Thursday comes around.
Thursday and Friday both sit at an 80% chance of rainfall and a total of around 15 to 20 mm.
Saturday might just be the one standout, with a 40% chance of around 1 mm coming down, while Sunday is set to bring a few showers at around 5 mm.
Next week starts off with straight rainfall of around 15 mm… which will honestly do wonders for Calgary’s usually-parched summer greenery, but may put a damper on those start-of-summer plans.
We’re sure the sun will come outĀ tomorrow eventually ā just keep those fingers crossed!
