Studio Bell will open it’s doors to the public on Canada Day 2016. The highly anticipated home of the National Music Centre first started construction in 2013 and opened privately this year during the 2016 JUNO Awards in Calgary.
“Studio Bell will be one of Canada’s most significant national institutions, inspiring new generations of musicians and music lovers and catalyzing the redevelopment of Calgary’s East Village as a core urban district,” said NMC President and CEO Andrew Mosker. “We are ecstatic to finally reveal this remarkable facility and its potential to music lovers from home and away.”
To celebrate the grand opening and Canada’s birthday, free admission will be granted on July 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Studio Bell is giving the first 500 visitors who register for the event guaranteed early entry, and a gift when they walk through the doors. Online registration will open on June 15.
