12 gorgeous photos of Calgary finally seeing a stunning spring (PHOTOS)

Spring tends to come to Calgary a little later than some other parts of the country, (cough, Vancouver, cough) but when the season finally does show up in YYC, it is absolutely gorgeous.

We think we’re safe in saying that another spring snowfall is… unlikely (knocks on wood), meaning we can all finally put away our winter coats and revel in the colours that are erupting all over the city.

From green grass to purple flowers, everywhere you look in YYC is showing signs of spring, and the weather is finally on its way to those summertime scorchers we’ve been missing over the past eight months.

Many Calgary photographers have already been out and about documenting the true arrival of the stunning season, and you can do so as well by checking out these great photo spots.
