Get out your bathing suits, Calgary’s spray parks are set to open on June 18.
All of Calgary’s spray parks are run by the city and are open from 9 am to 9 pm daily.
The following spray parks will be open for business mid-month:
- Bowness Park – 8900 48 Avenue NW
- Canmore Park – 19 Street and Chicoutimi Drive NW (already open on weekends, opening daily June 18)
- Eau Claire Plaza / Barclay Mall – 3 Street and Riverfront Avenue SW
- Rotary Park – 617 1 Street NE (already open on weekends, opening daily June 18)
- South Glenmore Park – 90 Avenue and 24 Street SW (already open on weekends, opening daily June 18)
- Valleyview Park – 28 Street and 30 Avenue SE (already open on weekends, opening daily June 18)
Due to maintenance, Prairie Winds Park on Castleridge Boulevard will be closed for the 2016 season.
In addition to the spray parks, the Eau Claire Plaza / Barclay Mall wading pool is set to open on June 18, as is the wading pool at Riley Park at 800 12 Street NW on June 22.
