Screamfest will be back in Calgary this month for one weekend only

Screamfest, one of Canada’s largest and scariest Halloween events, is back in Calgary this October.

Believed to have been gone for good as of last year, the frightening affair has decided to resurrect itself for one weekend only, running from October 11 to 14.

Ticket-holders will enjoy six different haunted houses, with everything from clowns to zombies to Grim Reapers attempting to scare them silly as they make their way through the mazes.

Here’s the full list of haunts:

  • Clown Town
  • Reapers and Grimm
  • Bates Motel
  • What Lurks in the Dark
  • Walking with the Dead
  • What Lies Beneath

Full descriptions of each house can be found at Screamfest Resurrected’s website.

Tickets are still available to this notoriously sold-out event, though how long they’ll last is anyone’s guess.

Those hoping to attend will have the choice of either premium weekend admission for $99, general weekend admission for $50, or kids weekend admission (6- to 12-year-old) for $9.

Premium admission will get you VIP front of line access, unlimited access to the grounds throughout the weekend, one admission to all six haunted houses per day, $16 in Killer Cash to be used onsite for games and entertainment, and two additional haunted house admissions per day of your choice.

General admission will net you grounds access and one admission to all six haunted houses per day.
