It’s not summer in Calgary without a little lightning.
Another thunderstorm is apparently heading Calgary’s way this weeks, as The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast calls for the risk of strong thunderstorms on the horizon.

The height of the storm is expected to hit on Wednesday, which will see winds of up to 35 km/hour, around 10 to 15 mm of rainfall, and a high of 24°C.
Thursday follows up with some much-needed sunshine and a high of 23°C, but the real stunner will be Friday with mainly sunny skies and a high of 26°C that feels more like 28°C.
You’ll want to make that day count, because Saturday and Sunday hit full force with around 10 mm of rain on each day.
Monday and Tuesday start next week off a little calmer with just 1 to 3 mm of rainfall for both days.
Let’s hope that July is a little sunnier (and a little less stormy) than June has been so far.
