Calgary police investigating fatal early morning shooting

Calgary Police Services are investigating a shooting that left one dead at the scene early Monday morning.

At approximately 1 am on March 30, in the northeast of Calgary, CPS received several reports of gunshots and found a male victim who was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Police have spoken to several potential witnesses, and are investigating the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled, though CPS did not specify a date.
