Calgary Oktoberfest 2015 celebrates community and of course beer

On Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26 Calgary Oktoberfest, presented by X92.9, will be celebrating the local community and, of course, beer.

During the Calgary Oktoberfest they will be showcasing brews from Germany and local seasonal craft beer for you to sample.

The event also includes traditional entertainment such as live music featuring an authentic Oompah band and great food from some of Calgary’s best pubs and restaurants.

Just a reminder that the entrance ticket does not include your sample tokens which are $1 each and can be purchased once you are inside the event.

If you feel like you need to have more beer and excitement after all of your fun at the Calgary Oktoberfest there are two after parties you can attend; Last Best on September 25 at 607 11 Ave SW and/or National on September 26 at 225 8th Ave SW.

Calgary Oktoberfest

  • Where: The BIG Four Building – 20 Roundup Way, Calgary
  • When: Friday, September 25 from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, September 26 from 2 to 9:00 p.m.
  • Cost: $19 for a one day pass; $30 for a weekend pass. Must be 18 or older to attend this event.
