Calgary is getting a brand-new bowling alley this fall, with Splitsville Bowl announcing the opening of its fifth Calgary location.

The company revealed on Thursday that the new spot will open in Township, located at 720-80 Longview Common SE.

Once open, visitors can expect 20 new bowling lanes, including VIP lanes, along with a large arcade, and a full-service bar and restaurant. It’s set to be the perfect spot for casual visits, group outings, and special events.

“Opening our fifth location in Calgary is an exciting milestone for us,” said Pat Haggerty, president of Splitsville Bowl, in a release.

If you can’t wait to hit the lanes, Splitsville Bowl already operates four locations in Calgary, including Creekside, Highfield, Glamorgan, and Meridian, giving plenty of options to bowl before the new spot opens.

“Calgary has been an incredible market for Splitsville, and this new location brings together the very best of social entertainment under one roof. We look forward to welcoming the South Calgary community to a space where friends and families can come together, unwind, and create lasting memories.”

While there is no firm opening date yet, the company’s website notes that the new Calgary bowling alley is expected to open sometime this fall.

Splitsville is also expanding elsewhere in Alberta. Plans to open its first two Edmonton locations were announced earlier this month, with one set to open later this year and one in early 2027.

The new expansion follows a big year for Splitsville Bowl, after reaching 15 nationwide locations in 2025.
