Get ready for monster bargains… The Calgary New and Used Ski Sale is back, selling up to 9,000 items of ski and snowboard equipment at low prices.
The five-day event, one of the largest and oldest new and used ski and snowboard sales in Canada, will take place at the Max Bell Centre later in October.
The sale kicks off with two days of public consignment when you can bring along any items you want to sell, on Wednesday, October 19 and Thursday, October 20.
Then it’s just a matter of fighting off the other 4,000 attendees to find bargains galore for three days, from Friday, October 21 to Sunday, October 23.
On offer will be up to huge amounts of new and used cross-country and downhill skis, snowboards, and clothing. On Sunday, all red-tagged items are half price.
Admission is $8. All proceeds go to Calgary Ski Club, Canadian Ski Patrol – Calgary Zone, and Lake Louise Ski Club.
Also benefiting are Kiwanis Club, which receives donated equipment and The Jacket Racket, which receives donated clothing.
