These 11 Calgary neighbourhoods are the most in demand right now

The housing market may be looking more attractive as rent prices drop in Calgary, andĀ it seems that some neighbourhoods are even more sought after than others.
According to the digital real estate platform Wahi, several neighbourhoods in the city have some homes flying off the market, resulting in a short lifespan for active listings.
When looking at all property sales across Calgary in March, these 11 neighbourhoods saw an average of days on the market fall below two weeks. How impressive!
The fastest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary in March with at least five sales were:
- Cougar Ridge, with an average days on the market sitting at 12
- Parkland, with an average days on the market sitting at 12
- Glamorgan, with an average days on the market sitting at 12
- Beddington Heights, with an average days on the market sitting at 12
- Garrison Woods, with an average days on the market sitting at 12

Out of those 11 neighbourhoods, Dalhousie had the lowest median sold price at $583,300, while the community of Crestmont led the pack with a median sold price of $940,500.
While we are on the topic of property, these five spots near Calgary are seeing house sales sink this year, and one Alberta city is seeing the second-highest rent price hike in Canada.
If you have some serious cash to spend on a house, a historic mansion in our city also just saw a $2,100,000 price drop.
