Canada’s National Music Centre doesn’t open until Canada Day, but they’re already offering special pricing for memberships.

NWC memberships offer year-round access to Studio Bell and help support the operations of Canada’s first National Music Centre. Memberships purchased during the month of June will cost $49 for adults, $38 for students and seniors, and $94 for families of four, and in July, they’ll increase to $58, $38, and $110 respectively.

“Even though Studio Bell is not open yet, we know that Calgarians are going to be thrilled by what the building has to offer—from the awe-inspiring architecture to the five floors of interactive exhibits that celebrate the story of music in Canada,” says Cynthia Klaassen, NMC’s manager of visitor and venue services in a statement. “Purchasing a membership is a great way to enjoy Studio Bell over several visits and also support NMC. The membership pays for itself with three visits, plus membership holders will save on retail purchases.”

Advanced memberships allow a 15% discount on membership price, as well as a 10% discount at Studio Bell’s gift shop and coffee retailer. It also includes one general admission ticket for a non-member guest and a gift card to Rosso Coffee Roasters.

Additionally, for the month of July only, Studio Bell will be open seven days a week before moving to regular year-round hours from Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.

Studio Bell will feature a 2000+ piece collection of artifacts, instruments, and music technology, and will include recording facilities, workshops, classrooms, an event space, and a 300-seat performance hall. The total size of the building measures 160,000 square feet.

Construction is finally edging on completion for this music giant – it’s been three years in the making.
