Calgary Maple Festival des Sucres returns for 14th year

Now in its 14th year, the annual winter Calgary Maple Festival des Sucres returns to the city, and will run over two days, celebrating Canada’s rich Francophone heritage

Presented by the Association canadienne-française de l’Alberta, Calgary chapter (ACFA Calgary), the festival kicks off on March 5 at Heritage Park, a new home for the festival.

Promoting French Canadian culture, history, and traditions, this year’s festival will feature French Canadian music and folkloric dances, traditional meals (crèpes and maple syrup, maple ham, country-style potatoes, and scrambled Eggs), outdoor games, hay wagon rides, and the festivals legendary savoury maple taffy.
