Calgary Ice Breaker Polar Dip is this weekend

Dec 31 2016, 3:36 am

An annual Polar Dip organized by Old Guys in Action in support of the SA (Servants Anonymous) Foundation’s work caring for victims of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

This year will mark the 8th year of the dip. Watch and support as people take the plunge at the Elbow Valley Residents Club on New Years Day.

If you want to take part in the plunge, you can register online. There will be in-water helpers, heated tents, hot tubs, shore support and lots of verbal encouragement on scene. Emergency medical personnel on will also be there, not that you’ll need it though.
