Calgary's biggest handmade market returns to Stampede Park next month

Calgary is getting ready to host the largest handmade market of the year: Make It!.

Taking place at the Big Four building at Stampede Park from April 6 to 8, the three-day event will showcase more than 135 artists, crafters, and makers.

Once there, you can shop for bespoke handcrafted items made by crafters (Makies) from all over Canada. And when you buy any items you’ll feel great knowing that you’re supporting someone’s dream (cuteness overload).

Attending at least one day of the craft show is a must, because you’ll get to immerse yourself in a fun and energetic environment filled with artists, awesome music, as well as food trucks where you can grab a bite mid-shopping.

There’s even going to be a beer garden where you can enjoy a cold brew after a successful afternoon of shopping.

While you’re at the show you’ll want to check out and enter the Grand Prize Draw. You can also bid on beautiful handmade items donated by Makies in a charity silent auction which will benefit the Calgary Firefighter’s Burn Treatment Society.

Tickets to Make It! are on sale now costing $6 for general admission. But you can snap up yours with 50% off the price if you buy at the early bird rates via Picatic now.

Don’t forget to RSVP via the Make It! Facebook event page when you’re booked and ready to go. Make it a memorable shopping experience!
