Mar 31 2025, 3:42 pm

While Calgary may have been blanketed with some spring snow, it’s not going to last long with a wicked swing in temperatures on the way.

Looking at the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) forecast, it seems like we are on the cusp of a big rise in temperatures. It wouldn’t be spring in Calgary without it feeling like a weather roller coaster!

Calgary is forecast to hit a high of just 4°C today with plenty of cloud coverage before temperatures dip tonight with an overnight low of -7°C.

Tomorrow warms up with a high of 10°C but brings with it a chance of showers and rain showers or flurries in the evening.

We don’t even break above the freezing mark on Wednesday and Thursday in Calgary, with daytime highs of -1°C and a chance of flurries. We aren’t done with the snow just yet!

Finishing up the workweek and heading into the weekend, it’s going to be warm and sunny, with lovely daytime highs of 6°C on Friday and 16°C on Saturday. All eyes are on Sunday, with a daytime high of a dazzling 22°C.

When you do the math between Thursday’s overnight low of -7°C and Sunday’s daytime high, it’s a temperature change of 29 degrees.
