One lucky Calgary Flames fan left the Scotiabank Saddledome with one heckuva prize on Friday night.
It was a good evening for the Flames and their fan base in general, as several players starred in a convincing 6-2 win over the Seattle Kraken.
Matt Coronato finished with four points, becoming the first Flames player to record a four-point night since Jonathan Huberdeau on Oct. 12, 2024. Matvei Gridin and Morgan Frost also enjoyed multi-point outings.
Another Flame that had a big night was Joel Farabee, who finished with a goal and two assists. His goal helped give Calgary a commanding 4-1 lead in the second period.

It wasn’t just a big goal for his team, either.
Farabee’s goal came during Cowboys Casino’s ‘Minute To Win It’ promotion, meaning one lucky fan, Yasmin, won an all-inclusive trip for two to Las Vegas.
As you would expect, she was overjoyed on the jumbotron, receiving a loud ovation from the crowd once everyone in the building realized what had just happened.

The celebration was certainly well deserved, especially considering it’s been quite some time since the Flames last scored during a Minute To Win It.
Yegor Sharangovich was the last to do so on Dec. 16, 2023, in what was a 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Dustin Wolf takes step in the right direction
Offence wasn’t the only thing going for the Flames on Friday night, either.
Though he wasn’t tested an awful lot, Dustin Wolf was solid when called upon, turning aside 20 of the 22 shots he faced. It could serve as a major confidence boost for the 25-year-old, who struggled to open the season before Devin Cooley received the starting nod in each of Calgary’s previous five games.
“I felt pretty good,” Wolf said. “It’s been a long time off, so I was just getting back into it and [felt] good about my game. My emphasis tonight, as [Cooley] says, was to not think. As simple as that sounds, it’s not easy. But we came in [and] got two points.”
All in all, it was a memorable night at the Saddledome. The Flames picked up a convincing victory, Wolf got back in the win column, and Yasmin walked away with a trip to Las Vegas.
Not a bad Friday night in Calgary.
