Calgary, we are a Stars town now. Well, at least for one more day.
Dallas forced a Game 7 yesterday, by virtue of beating the St. Louis Blues in Game 6 of their second round matchup. That means that a first round draft pick is on the line for the Flames tomorrow.
Big game for #Flames tomorrow in Dallas … If Stars beat Blues, conditional pick from Kris Russell trade becomes a first-rounder.

You may recall the terms of the Kris Russell trade at the deadline involved a second round pick, along with Jyrki Jokipakka and Brett Pollock. Well, that second rounder was actually a conditional pick, dependent on the Stars making the conference final.
Well here we are!
If the Stars beat the Blues in Game 7 (6 p.m. on Sportsnet), the Flames will receive Dallas’ first round draft pick.
Get our your green pom-poms, Calgary. This is huge.
