The Calgary Flames unveiled the new “reverse retro” jerseys they’ll wear for select games next season, and to the delight of fans, the popular flaming horse head logo will be featured on the black jersey.

All 31 NHL teams have unveiled new alternate uniforms, with many opting for some pretty bold choices.

The Flames first unveiled Blasty on their third jersey in 1998, and it was actually used as the team’s home jersey from 2000 to 2003. It’s the only uniform in Flames history to not feature the Flaming C as the primary logo.
