There will be wedding bells ringing in the near future for Calgary Flames forward Adam Klapka.

Several Flames teammates, as well as their significant others, were quick to comment on the post congratulating Klapka and Jehlickova.

“Let’s go!! Congrats beaut,” Flames defenceman Joel Hanley chimed in.

It’s been quite the year for Klapka and Jehlickova. On top of their recent engagement, the couple were able to spend some quality time together down in Mexico during the Olympic break in February.

Things have been going quite well for Klapka as of late. After somewhat of a breakout thanks to a career-high 31 games with the Flames in 2024-25, the 25-year-old spent the entire 2025-26 campaign in the NHL. In 79 games, he racked up six goals, 18 points, and a team-leading 112 penalty minutes. He also finished fourth amongst all NHLers with 295 hits.

Though Klapka’s offensive ceiling appears to be limited at the NHL level, he was able to prove this season that he is capable of being a bottom-six forward thanks to his size and physicality. He has one more year remaining on his contract, which carries a $1.25-million cap hit. Once up, he will be an RFA.
