The Calgary Flames have announced their 2015-16 season home opener will take place on October 7 against the Vancouver Canucks.
The clubs will exchange home openers as the two will then head to Vancouver for the Canucks home opener on October 10.
The complete regular season schedule will be released on Thursday at 8 a.m.
The Flames opened the 2014-15 season with a 4-2 win at home against the Winnipeg Jets.
