
If you were looking up just before 8:00 last night, you may have caught a possible fireball cascading through the sky over Calgary.
Calgarians were quick to capture the streaks of light moving across the night sky, sharing them on social media shortly afterwards.

According to the American Meteor Society fireball reports, accounts were filed regarding the incident from Calgary, Banff, Medicine Hat, and Wetaskiwin.
Some people in Calgary reported hearing “ruffled mumbles” in association with the possible fireball event, with a “glowing trail” that lasted a second or two.
