The Calgary Expo Holiday Market is back in the city this month

Calgary’s geekiest holiday market is coming back to the city.

The Calgary Expo Holiday Market will be taking over the BMO Centre this November 30 for a “one-day holiday shopping extravaganza and a festive fandom celebration,” according to the event’s website.

Attendees will be able to visit Santa and his holiday stormtroopers, grab a holiday photo with Jack Skellington, and stock up on some amazing gifts courtesy of the dozens of vendors and artists expected to be selling their handmade goods.

This year’s holiday market will also feature an old school comic show, meaning you might finally be able to snag that elusive edition — who says you can’t buy yourself a holiday gift or three, right?

Dressing up is most definitely encouraged, and the expo is expected to have some stunning cosplayers making their way around the show floor.

Tickets to the event are just $10, and are only available at the door — though kids 12 and under are free if accompanied by an adult.

The Calgary Expo Holiday Market runs from 9 am to 6 pm, and we’d suggest getting there sooner rather than later before all the best gifts are bought up!
