If you thought that winter was going to let up any time soon, you’ve got another thing coming.
Calgary is expected to see up to 20 cm of snowfall this Friday, blanketing the city in a fresh sheet of white and giving snow shovels across the city their day in the sun snow.

The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast pegs Friday as the main culprit, though a few flakes may also be seen on Thursday, Saturday, and next Wednesday.
Temperatures remain consistently cold throughout the week, though not quite the biting -40°C windchill that we’ve been seeing, with the warmest upcoming day being seen at -8°C next Tuesday.
As always, Calgarians are warned to drive cautiously after a fresh snowfall, to clear their sidewalks within 24 hours of the snow ending, and to wear their warmest pair of socks if they have to venture out into the cold white abyss that is the outdoors.
Just 35 more days until spring, people. We can do this.
