Celebrate Remembrance Day with 11 Days of Remembrance

  • What: Beginning on November 1, over 3,400 white crosses will be placed along memorial drive as part of the Field of Crosses Memorial Project. Stop by over the next 11 days to pause, reflect and remember the many Southern Alberta soldiers who have sacrificed their lives during various wars and missions. You can visit the site anytime during the day, or catch their flag raising and lowering ceremonies at both sunrise and sunset.
