Happy Thanksgiving Sunday!

Whether you’re hoping to work up an appetite, or work off that turkey, there’s a lot going on around town to get you up and out the door.

What: Celebrate fall in the most appropriate way possible! Every weekend in October you will have the opportunity explore the patch and pick out the perfect pumpkin to bring home, along with the Petting Zoo, Corn Maze, Fun Farm and more. Don’t miss The Great Pumpkin Explosion, where a pumpkin filled with candy is exploded daily!

What: Walk or run and help raise money to transform the dementia story for those affected by this terrible disease!

What: Join the Calgary Farmers Market and Calgary Food Tours as they bring to you a very special Sunday brunch. You will have the opportunity to listen to 10 various Alberta ranchers as they explain what it takes to bring their products to the market, sample their produce and leave feeling inspired to fill your shopping bag with fresh goodies.

What: It’s larch season! Grab your cameras and hiking gear and enjoy the picturesque fall views from the top of a mountain. If you haven’t checked out Larch Valley and Sentinel Pass then you must move it to the top of your bucket list. Be sure to be prepared to expect all sorts of weather patterns throughout the day.

What: A tour guide will greet you at CIBO restaurant on 17th Avenue SW near the corner of 9th Street. From there head to Made by Marcus Micro Creamery, Ollia, Frenchie Wine Bar, Ox Bar de Tapas, and finally, finish at Anju Restaurant. Don’t worry about tabs, tax, and tips – just show up ready to walk and eat!
