Calgary Hitmen vs Seattle Thunderbirds

Walk Off The Earth

Walk Off the Earth/Live Nation

What: Juno Award-winning, multi-platinum group, Walk Off the Earth, is coming to Calgary during their world tour. Their five-people-playing-one-guitar interpretation of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” exploded on YouTube, garnering more than 180 million views. Since then, the group has gone on to release their own original songs, “Red Hands” (#1 at AAA), “Fire In My Soul,” and “Rule The World.” Walk Off the Earth has already sold out venues around the world, not to mention collaborating with artists including Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki, and Keith Urban.

Calgary’s Official Poetry Slam – Halloween Edition

What: Calgary’s Official Poetry Slam and Open Mic. Hosted by Dr. John, the spooky edition of Poetry Slam encourages poets to dress up in costume. The sign-up sheet for both the open mic and the slam will be released at 7:00 pm, and the show will start at 7:30 pm.

Stephen Fearing

What: Stephen Fearing is co-founder of Canadian roots-rock band Blackie and The Rodeo Kings, a multi JUNO and Canadian Folk Music award winner, and had his solo album “Every Soul’s a Sailor” named 2017 Worldwide Album of the Year by Blues & Roots Radio. He will be previewing songs from his upcoming album, The Unconquerable Past, at Ironwood Stage & Grill on October 28.

2019 Calgary Spanish Film Festival

What: Heritage Park presents Dinner & A Movie Nights at the Selkirk Grille and the Gasoline Alley Museum.
