2019 Giller Light Bash YYC

What: A celebration of one of Canada’s top book prizes and a fundraiser for Frontier College. The evening includes a live broadcast of the prize announcement, raffle and silent auction prizes, panel discussion, and more. Food and drinks will also be available. Hosted by CBC Radio’s Russell Bowers.

The Blue Jay Cafe – Holiday Edition

What: The Blue Jay Cafe, presented by Eat North and Calgary Country, supports the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary. Attendees can expect 12 returning performers from the inaugural Blue Jay Cafe pop-up plus over 20 new musicians from across BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

Norm MacDonald

What: Norm MacDonald was a cast member of Saturday Night Live for five seasons, starred in and co-wrote the film Dirty Work, and was the voice of Lucky the Dog in the Eddie Murphy hit Dr. Doolittle. What: Part of the Grey Cup Festival, the Nissan TITAN Street Festival features a variety of family-friendly activities. Then stay for the fireworks at the end of each evening with music by Canadian musicians.
