High River’s Annual Santa Skate

What: High River’s annual Santa Skate features a whole afternoon of festive fun at Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex. There will be gingerbread decorating, hot dogs and hot chocolates, skating with the family, and photos with Santa by donation to Jumpstart (please bring your own camera). There will also be activities in the field house to check out. Bring a donation to the food bank.

7 Cultural Society’s 2nd Annual Indigenous Art Exhibition

What: Making Treaty 7 Cultural Society’s second annual Indigenous Art Exhibition is being showcased at a number of venues around Calgary this fall and winter. The exhibition features work from 17 artists.

Sounds of the Season with Calgary Philharmonic

Winter ice skating at Olympic Plaza

What: Built in 1988 for the Olympic Winter Games, Olympic Plaza has the only refrigerated outdoor ice surface in the city. You can rent skates down at the plaza if you don’t have a pair of your own. Helmets are strongly encouraged.
