In fact, the owner of this store is so sick of the stench, that they have offered free Blizzards once a week for a year to anyone who can figure out the cause of the strange odour.

A staff member at the Dairy Queen confirmed this reward to Daily Hive by phone, and also mentioned that the smell has been hanging around “for years.”

While the team at the northeast shop is sure it’s not a gas-related stench (as confirmed by local experts), they can’t seem to crack this stinky code on their own.

“People are looking right now, but no one has found it yet.”
