4 Calgary bars among Canada’s 50 Best in 2019
It’s been just over a month since Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants revealed its 2019 picks, and now the Best Bars list has been released too.

This is only the second year the list of Canada’s 50 Best Bars has been chosen, the annual list ranks the finest wine, beer, and cocktail lounges across the country.
While Ontario bars dominated the list this year again – Toronto’s Bar Raval held steady at number one on the list – there were seven Alberta bars in the top 50 for 2019.
Four of the establishments are in Calgary including repeat-ranker Proof, the highest Alberta spot on the list coming in at number eight, moving four spots down from fourth place in 2018.

Milk Tiger Lounge was present again on this year’s list, and new additions Betty Lou’s Library and Bar Annabelle came in at 37 and 44, respectively.
